Why We Designed This Program
We were tired of the fads, gimmicks, and fancy gadgets that over-promise and under-deliver. We wanted to create the most affordable and up-to-date program that puts you in the driver seat. Are you trying to recover from Achilles tendon issues that are negatively impacting your day-to-day activities, fitness routine, and/or long-term goals? These are all referring to the same condition - Achilles tendon pain and impaired function. Achilles tendinopathy is actually the umbrella term and preferred diagnosis. This is discussed further in the program.
These labels are referring to the location of symptoms. The program is suitable for both. This is discussed further in the program.
Tendon ruptures are extremely rare in people with Achilles tendinopathy, especially when using a graded exercise program. If you have concerns, consult with your medical doctor.
If your rupture and/or surgery were not recent, this program is likely suitable for you. However, you should always receive clearance to exercise from your medical doctor.
The program is 16 weeks in length, although progress should be observed sooner.
The program is designed to be performed 3 days per week (2 full training sessions and 1 day of heel raises only).
Each full training session (2 days per week) is 20 to 45 minutes depending on your chosen rest times, current phase of the program, and exercise selection. Some aspects of the program are customizable, so you can tailor the training sessions to fit your availability, preferences, and goals. The 1 day of heel raises only should take less than 10 minutes.
Yes, the program includes an OPTIONAL and customizable dynamic warm-up.
Yes, the program includes OPTIONAL jumping and hopping progressions for those looking to return to running, sports, or other similar activities.
Yes, preferably on the days you’re not performing this program.

Since the program is modifiable, no equipment is needed to start the program. However, to perform EVERY exercise in the program, weights (dumbbells, kettlebells, or a backpack filled with weights), bands (any variety), and a step (or objects stacked that you can safely stand on) are required.
